ELDA tasks within C-ORAL-ROM
Two major tasks are assigned to ELDA: Language Resource distribution and information dissemination/promotion.
The distribution task consists of:
- a quick user expectations/needs survey with respect to both (academic and HLT) market sectors
- evaluation and choice of distribution means (CD, DVD)
- pricing: this will be done by comparing the prices with like resources, and reviewing pricing strategies
The promotion task consists of:
- marketing of the project by hosting the Web pages (preparation with input from partners)
- information dissemination through several mailing lists, publication in the ELRA newsletter and catalogue
- project papers for conferences, as well as organisation of the Project Dissemination Meeting (Paris, 2003)
